Deck size

First we need our deck size

Deck SizeBody SizeEU Shoes Size
7"100 - 130 cm28 - 32
7.3" - 7.5"130 - 160cm31 - 35
7.5" - 8.0"160cm+35 - 42
8.0" - 8.25"160cm+42+
8.25" - 8.5"160cm+42+

Trucks

The axles called trucks and should fit the size of the deck.

Wheels

The size of the wheels depending on the ground and what you want to do with it.

Available sizes are 48 - 60mm, the typical range is 52 - 56mm

Tiny wheels will accelerate quick but are not fast and visa-versa for the big ones.

For allround city cruising 53mm is a good choice

Bearings

Important are good bearings b/c this is what let you roll

There is a scale rating called ABEC which describe how robust a bearing is but it doesn’t mean that higher is better.

Screws

The trucks needs to be added to the deck and the screws are not part of trucks so we need a set of 8 screws and nuts.

Griptape

The deck will be blanc when it’s new so we need to add a griptape.

The griptape needs to be renewed regularly when frequently used.

T-Tool

To adjust the trucks and for tightening the screws we should add that tool.
